If you’re looking for an easy craft that looks great when you’re done, this is the craft for you. This craft is super simple to make and only requires a few materials to complete. As such, it’s perfect for kids of all ages, from toddlers and preschoolers to elementary school kids.

This craft is great for an around the world unit of study or as an Earth Day craft.

Easy Tissue Paper Earth Craft

Materials for tissue paper earth craft

Materials

  • Earth printable (available for download below)
  • Tissue paper (blue and green)
  • Glue
  • Scissors

Instructions

First, download and print out the free earth printable found at the bottom of this page.

Next, cut blue and green pieces of tissue paper into small squares.

Cover a small portion of the earth with glue and begin to cover it with crinkled pieces of tissue paper (green on the land and blue on the water). For younger kids you can use blue and green marker to indicate on the paper where they should out the blue tissue paper and where they should put the green tissue paper.

Continue gluing the tissue paper on until the whole earth is covered.

Cut out your earth.

And just like that, your tissue paper earth is complete! I love how easy this craft is so make, but it still looks great when it’s done.
