Melted Snowman Tissue Paper Craft

Materials

• Melted snowman printable template (available for download below)
• White tissue paper
• Colored paper (blue, orange, brown, black)
• Glue
• Scissors
• Markers (optional)

Instructions

Let’s get ready to make our adorable melting snowmen!

This is an easy flexible project that you can customize and arrange however you want. Feel free to leave out elements on the printable if you want a more simplified version (for example, the “stones” for the mouth or the scarf can be left off for a simplified version).

First, download and print out the melting snowman printable template which you can find at the bottom of this page.

Next, cut out all of the elements on the printable page.

Now you’re going to trace the elements onto colored paper.

(For an easier option, you can just color the snowman elements on the printable instead.)

Trace the hat and small circles (“stones” for the mouth) onto black paper.

Trace the stick arms onto brown paper and cut out.

Trace the carrot nose onto orange paper and the scarf onto red paper. Cut them out.

Now take white tissue paper and cut it into rough squares (approximately 2″ x 2″).

Crinkle the pieces of tissue paper and glue them to the center of a piece of blue paper.

Finally, glue the pieces of your snowman onto the tissue paper. Because this is a melting snowman, these pieces can be glued anywhere on the paper!

This craft is so simple to make and the end result is an adorable melted snowman that kids will be proud to display.
