Corn Craft

Materials

  • Corn craft template (available for download below)
  • Yellow paint (and others if you want multi-colored corn)
  • Green paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Instructions

First, download and print out the free corn craft template, available at the bottom of this page.

Cut out a piece of bubble wrap about the size of a child’s hand.

Squeeze some yellow paint onto your plate or palette and spread it into a thin layer.

Gently press the bubble wrap into the paint and then press it onto the corn template.

Repeat the process until the entire piece of corn is covered in “kernels”. Don’t worry about going outside of the lines because you will be cutting it out anyway.

If you want multi-colored corn, layer other colors such as orange and red over the top of the yellow.

Once you’re done painting, allow your corn to dry, then cut out around the corn.

Cut out the pieces of the template and trace them onto green paper. Cut them out.

Glue the cob onto the bottom of the corn.

Glue one of the husks onto the bottom of the corn, covering the outer edge of the corn.

Glue the other leaf onto the other side, overlapping the husks at the bottom.

Now your corn craft is complete!
