Instructions

This beautiful cherry blossom craft couldn’t be easier to make!

First you’re going to need to download and print out our free cherry blossom craft template, which you can get by entering your email into the form at the bottom of this page.

Pick the template that you want to use for your craft. We have either a branch or a tree option included in the bundle, or you can make both!

Dip your q-tip into the paint and begin dotting it on the branches.

For that classic cherry blossom look, use pink and white paint to make your blossoms. We used two different colors of pink to give a little extra depth to the painting.

Continue until the tree is covered in blossoms and let your beautiful art work dry.

If you want to make a plum blossom tree, you can use an even wider array of colors. While plum blossoms have the same pinks and whites as cherry blossoms, they can also have red blossoms as well.

For our plum blossom art, we used red paint for the flowers and then used a Q-tip dipped in yellow paint to make a small dot in the center of some of the flowers .

This craft is so simple to create, making it perfect for kids of all ages. And the end result is a beautiful piece of art that children will be proud to share!

Whether you’re making this craft to welcome spring or as part of a Japan or China learning unit, it’s sure to be a hit.
