“You’re Out of this World” Rocket Card Craft

Rocket Card Craft

Materials

• Rocket card craft template (available for download below)
• Colored paper
• Scissors
• Glue

Instructions

First, download and print out the rocket card craft template, which you can find at the bottom of this page.

Next, cut out the pieces of the template.

Fold the rocket in half with the text on the inside.

Now trace the pieces of the template onto colored paper. Trace the nose and blasters onto red paper, trace the larger circle onto black paper, and trace the smaller circle onto light blue paper. Then trace the larger flame onto orange paper and the smaller flame onto yellow paper.

Cut out all of the traced pieces.

Now we will begin assembling the rocket! First, glue the nose of the rocket to the top of the white rocket. Then glue the large circle to the center of the rocket and glue the small circle to the larger circle.

Glue the smaller flame to the larger flame.

Finally, glue the flame to the back of the rocket on the bottom and the blasters to the back of the rocket on the sides.

Now your rocket card is complete! Write a personalized message inside and gift your card to a friend or loved one!
