Materials

  • Pineapple craft template
  • Paper plate
  • Yellow paint
  • Markers (brown, pink)
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Instructions

First, download and print out the pineapple craft template, which you can find by scrolling to the bottom of this page.

Next, paint the paper plate yellow and set it aside to dry.

Use a pink or red pen to color in the mouth and cheek pieces of the pineapple. Then cut out all of the pieces of the template.

Trace the pineapple template onto the paper plate and cut it out.

Use a brown marker to draw crisscrossed lines onto the body of the pineapple.

Glue the eyes, mouth, and cheeks onto the pineapple to make the cute face.

The last part is to make the leaves at the top of the pineapple. To make this part, you’re going to use green tissue paper. I used two different shades of green to give it more dimension. Cut the piece of tissue paper into a square with spikes on the top.

Crinkle the tissue paper slightly and then glue or tape it to the back of the pineapple.

Now your cute, smiley pineapple craft is complete!
