Chicken Handprint Craft
Materials
- Chicken handprint craft template (available for download below)
- Colored paper
- Scissors
- Glue
Instructions
First, download and print out the free chicken handprint craft template, which you can find at the bottom of this page.
Now, cut out all of the pieces of the template.
Now you’re going to trace the pieces of the template onto colored paper. Trace the beak and feet on orange or yellow paper and trace the comb and wattle onto red paper.
Cut out the pieces that you traced.
Now trace your child’s hand on white paper for the chicken’s wing, then cut it out.
Now it’s time to assemble the chicken!
Glue the wattle to the top of the chicken’s head and the feet to the bottom of the chicken on the back.
Now glue the back and wattle to the chicken’s face.
Glue the handprint onto the chicken’s body as the chicken’s wing.
