Ghost Handprint Craft
Materials
- White paper
- Black paper (optional)
- Washable paint (black and pink)
- Scissors
Instructions
Start out by tracing your child’s hand onto white paper and cutting out the tracing.
Place black paint on a palette or paper plate. Dip your child’s finger in the black paint and press it onto the white handprint to make the ghost’s eyes and mouth. (You can also choose to draw a smile for your ghost instead of using a fingerprint).
Cut two small white circles and stick them to the wet paint to make the center of the ghost’s eyes.
Clean your child’s finger and then dip it into pink paint, then press it onto the ghost handprint to make the ghost’s cheeks.
To make the ghost stand out more, glue it to a piece of black paper if so desired.
And there you have it—a fun and easy Handprint Ghost craft that brings a touch of Halloween magic to your home!
This project is a fantastic way to engage kids in creative play, helping them develop fine motor skills while celebrating the spooky season.
Whether you hang these friendly ghosts around the house, use them to decorate your Halloween party, or give them as gifts to friends and family, they’re sure to bring smiles and a bit of spooky cheer.
