Christmas Elf Paper Plate Craft for Kids

Christmas Elf Paper Plate Craft

Materials

  • Christmas elf craft template (available for download below)
  • Paper plate
  • Paint (skin tone)/paintbrush
  • Colored paper (green, red, yellow, brown)
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Instructions

First, download and print out the Christmas elf craft template, which you can find by scrolling to the bottom of this page.

Paint the paper plate with skin colored paint (we used a combination of white and brown paint) and let it dry.

While the paint is drying, cut out the pieces of the template.

Trace the top of the hat on green paper, the fringe of the hat on red paper, the round tassel on yellow paper, and the hair on brown paper.

Cut out the pieces.

Trace the round face and ears onto the paper plate and cut them out.

Glue the fringe and tassel onto the hat.

Next, glue hair and eyes onto the face.

Use a pen to draw the nose and mouth onto the elf’s face.

Glue that hat onto the elf’s head and the ears to the side of the elf’s face.

Use a pen to draw a line on each ear.

Now your cute elf craft is complete!
