Christmas Tree Card Craft
Materials
- Christmas tree card template (available for download below)
- Tissue paper (green and bright colors for ornaments)
- Markers or colored pencils
- Scissors
- Glue
Instructions
First, download and print out the free Christmas tree card template. You can find the download box at the bottom of this page.
Next, use markers or colored pencils to color the word “merry”, the Christmas lights, the star and the tree stump.
Now you’ll need to cut out small squares of green tissue paper (approximately 1″x1″). Also cut out slightly smaller pieces of tissue paper in bright colors to be your ornaments.
Spread some glue onto the tree template, lightly crinkle up a piece of green tissue paper, and stick the green tissue paper to the glue.
Continue until the whole tree is covered in green tissue paper.
Once the tree is covered, crinkle some pieces of colorful tissue paper into balls and stick them to the tree with glue to be your ornaments!
Cut out around the outside of the card and fold it in half.
Write a heartfelt message inside, and your Christmas tree card craft is complete! Now it’s ready for gifting to a friend or loved one for Christmas.

Instructions
- Download and print out the Christmas tree card template.
- Use markers or colored pencils to color in the coloring portions of the card, including the star on the tree and the tree stump.
- Cut out small squares of green tissue paper. Also cut out smaller pieces of brightly colored tissue paper for the ornaments.
- Cover a portion of the tree with glue, lightly crinkle a piece of tissue paper, and stick the tissue paper to the glue. Continue until the entire tree is covered in green tissue paper.
- Crinkle small pieces of colored tissue paper into balls, glue them to the tree as the ornaments.
- Cut out the card and fold it in half.
- Write a message inside and gift it to someone special!
