Witch’s Broomstick Craft

Materials

  • Broomstick craft template (available for download below)
  • Brown paint
  • Fork
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Brown marker

Instructions

First, download and print out the broomstick craft template, which you can find at the bottom of this page.

Cut out the broom and broom handle pieces of the template.

Next, trace the broom head template onto tan or yellow paper.

Place some brown paint on a flat surface such as the center of a palette or a paper plate. Dip your fork in the paint and then press it onto the broom outline on the paper.

Repeat this process until the whole broom head is covered in brown lines. This makes the textured bristles on your broom!

Leave your broom to dry.

Trace the broom handle onto brown paper.

Cut out the broom head and broom handle.

Glue the broom onto the broom handle.

Use a brown pen to draw the band at the gathered part of the broom head.
