Instructions
First, grab the free Halloween cat craft template from the link at the bottom of this page and print it out.
Now, it’s time to add some color! Use markers or colored pencils to bring your template to life. Color the hat band black and the buckle yellow. Make the eyes yellow and the nose pink.
After coloring, carefully cut out all the pieces from the template.
Next, trace the cat’s body and tail onto black paper, the hat onto purple paper, and the broom handle onto brown paper.
Cut those pieces out too.
Start assembling your cat by gluing the hat band onto the purple hat.
Now for the fun part—putting your cat together! Glue the tail onto the cat’s body. Then, add the eyes and nose to the cat’s face and glue the hat over one of the cat’s ears.
Using a black marker, draw a mouth and whiskers on the cat’s face, and add legs to the cat’s body.
If desired, use a purple marker to add some folds to the hat.
For the broom, trace your child’s hand onto brown paper and cut it out.
Glue the handprint onto the end of the broom handle and use a brown marker to draw bands at the base of the broom handle.
And just like that, your adorable Halloween cat craft is complete! Enjoy displaying your spooky creation!
I hope you and your kids had as much fun making this cute paper Halloween cat craft as we did!
It’s amazing how a few simple materials and a bit of creativity can bring a festive touch to your Halloween decorations. This craft is not only a great way to celebrate the season, but it also makes for a wonderful keepsake with your child’s handprint as the broom head.
